Job description
As a leadership development manager in the HR department, you are responsible for developing managers' ability to lead the organization. The work involves strategic leadership development, building structures for manager development, and implementing development initiatives for managers.
Your main task is to develop the agency's shared direction for leadership and employee experience and how it is applied in governing and supporting processes, as well as ensuring that the agency's leadership development is integrated with the agency's strategic direction.
A central task is to design development initiatives for managers at all levels and to strengthen management groups' ability to lead and manage operations effectively.
The work involves analyzing needs and planning, implementing, and evaluating various types of development initiatives, such as manager programs and customized initiatives for management groups. The assignment includes both carrying out development initiatives yourself and procuring and setting requirements for assignments to external providers.

Basic requirements for the position
Higher education (psychology or behavioral science education) of at least 180 higher education credits (120 p according to the previous system)
Experience of consultative work within the field of organization and leadership: design and implementation of manager and leadership programs as well as work with group and management group development.
Documented experience of independently driving and coordinating organization-wide processes/initiatives/projects.
Other merits for the position
Experience of work in larger organizations, preferably from a government agency
Experience of work with procurements and setting requirements for providers
Further education in OBM (Organizational Behavior Management) and experience of applying this practically
Experience of change management and applying this practically in development work
Experience of working toward all organizational levels, including senior management level
Beyond this, you possess good communication skills both verbally and in writing and an ability to lead conversations and dialogues, both in small and large groups, as well as well-developed collaboration skills. The ability to build trust and good relationships and be a professionally secure support with strong integrity will be crucial to how you succeed in the role as leadership development manager. You also need to be organized and have analytical and creative thinking.
