About Us Mollösunds Wärdshus is a historic inn located at the edge of Orust, in the heart of the old fishing village of Mollösund. The kitchen is at the heart of everything we do, and we create honest, seasonal cuisine with the sea and Bohuslän as our larder. About the Role We are looking for a head chef who wants to lead and shape our kitchen – take responsibility for the menu, quality, and daily operations, and be the hub of a small, cohesive team. With us, there's a fast pace, lots happening, and most importantly, a great group of people who enjoy working together. Employment Seasonal position with immediate start – full speed during summer, and during fall more focused on weekends, events, and conferences. Full-time or part-time by agreement, salary by agreement. Ideally, you live on Orust and can step in as head cook when needed – both during summer's pace and at fall events. Responsibilities Plan and develop menus based on season and ingredients Take responsibility for cooking and quality in all aspects Lead, schedule, and guide the kitchen team Handle purchasing, budgeting, and cost control Ensure food safety and self-monitoring (HACCP) Qualifications Experience as a chef, preferably in a leadership role Ability to lead a team and maintain composure in high-pressure situations Sense for ingredients, quality, and guest experience Good knowledge of Swedish or English Merits Experience with à la carte and groups/events Experience with menu and cost responsibility Live on or near Orust
