Description:

Robertsfors Municipality is a coastal municipality characterized by openness between people, ideas, and places. Here, people live and work to get even more out of life. Robertsfors Municipality is facing a historically expansive period with its attractive location between the cities of Skellefteå and Umeå. Along the Norrland coast, billions of kronor are being invested in both infrastructure and business establishments, which means exciting development opportunities for Robertsfors Municipality. Robertsfors has the advantages of a smaller municipality, namely the proximity between people and decision-makers. The municipality is also within convenient commuting distance from the larger neighboring municipalities of Umeå and Skellefteå and is part of the Umeå region. When the Norrbottnia Railway is completed, with its travel center in central Robertsfors, commuting time between Robertsfors and the neighboring cities will be cut in half.
