Fyrbodals Municipal Federation is one of four regional municipal federations in Västra Götaland. We are a collaborative organization for 14 municipalities with a combined population of 270,000 residents. Together we become stronger and can meet the future in a better way. We are now seeking a manager for our competence supply department. The federation is part of a complex collaboration landscape and you will both be a strategically important bearer of issues and processes and have room for operational efforts. Your employees have specialist expertise within their specific areas, which requires a great deal of trust on your part. In the role, you will support the federation director in creating a strong organization within the competence supply field. You will be part of regional strategic contexts and will have close collaboration with the other municipal federations in Västra Götaland and contact with, for example, Västra Götaland Region. As a manager, you will coach and support the employees in the department. You will have a comprehensive view of the federation's mission, take initiatives, implement decisions, follow up and report the results created in the department's operations and projects. You will be part of the federation's management group and participate in the development and follow-up of operational plans and other governing documents. You report directly to the federation director. You have budget responsibility for the department and are expected to ensure that funds allocated for the activity area are used efficiently and for the greatest possible benefit to the member municipalities. You have personnel responsibility and will conduct development and salary discussions. You also have workplace environment responsibility for your employees. Qualifications - Experience working with competence supply issues at both strategic and operational levels. - Knowledge of laws and regulations within the public sector. - Management experience. - Experience with budget and follow-up work. - Relevant higher education for the position. - Good administrative and communication skills. Meritorious - Experience working in both the private and public sectors and experience working in politically governed organizations. - Experience with sub-regional and/or regional work. Multi-level collaboration. - Experience with project/process management and/or qualified development work. - Experience and knowledge of the education sector. - Leadership training.
