The Logistics Unit's primary tasks are to support production and maintain the garrison's combat units in readiness. The Logistics Unit consists of three divisions, and we are now seeking a chief for the Supply Division as the current chief has chosen to move on to new challenges! The Swedish Armed Forces is in a growth phase, and so is the Supply Division. Much work will be focused on developing the division toward the war organization. About the Unit The Supply Division's main task is to supply military units with materiel and supplies according to their allocation. Either for use in production/training, operations, or storage for readiness requirements. The Supply Division consists of three sections with different specializations: a service section, a goods and transport section, and a supply/logistics section. Work at each section is led by a section chief with operational and personnel responsibility. Main Responsibilities As chief of the Supply Division, you will have operational responsibility, financial responsibility, and personnel responsibility for three section chiefs and their staff. A total of approximately 35 civilian employees. This involves leading and developing operations and personnel within the framework of the work areas and tasks the division is responsible for. Coordination and preparations are conducted with other divisions within the Logistics Unit, various functional leadership levels within logistics, unit customers, and other external logistics actors. This work includes budget responsibility, analysis of tasks in different time perspectives and priorities, structured planning, operations-focused implementation leadership, and follow-up, evaluation, and development. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Approved professional officer training Class B driver's license (manual transmission) Good computer skills and proficiency with Office programs Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish Very good administrative ability and structured work approach Personal Qualities As a person, you have great sense of responsibility and can work independently toward established goals for yourself and your division. You are thorough, unpretentious, and have a solution-focused work approach. You have a good ability to quickly shift focus between different work tasks and timeframes and make prioritizations for your own and your division's work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
