About the Job Do you want to help build our new IT management team and take a central role in developing our IT organization? We believe you are a leader who inspires others and gets things done. We are now seeking a manager with personnel and budget responsibility for the Operations and Support team within the IT unit. The team includes competencies such as system administrators, technicians, operations managers, and IT support technicians. You are responsible for delivering infrastructure, IT workplace solutions, and IT security/cybersecurity, as well as ensuring monitoring and operation of our production environments. The role also includes responsibility for incident management, risk management, and vendor management. Key responsibilities include leading and developing the Operations and Support team as well as planning and following up on the need for changes, development, and operations. Through a strategic approach and structured working methods, you ensure that our systems and platforms meet the organization's needs both today and in the future. The work involves extensive contact with your colleagues in the IT management team, business representatives, and other expert/support competencies at Brå, as well as close collaboration with the agency's information security officer. Your Education and Experience We are looking for someone who has - an academic degree or other education/experience that Brå deems equivalent - at least 3 years of documented work experience in modern infrastructure, IT workplace, and IT security - documented experience as a leader with personnel and budget responsibility in IT operations and/or support and management in the near term - very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing - good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing. To succeed in the role, you need broad practical knowledge of technology and infrastructure with good knowledge in several of the areas IT infrastructure, cloud services, identity management, client platforms, monitoring, and automated operations. You have previously worked with tactical or operational IT management and have experience managing operations, production, support, problem management, vendor management, and SLA monitoring. You have broad IT knowledge and are familiar with ticketing systems and agile working methods. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in - training or certifications in leadership, IT infrastructure, ITIL, ISO 27000, and agile working methods - project management and operations management - public sector, the justice system, and security-classified operations. Since you will collaborate extensively with your colleagues in the IT management team, you need an understanding of architecture and development work. You also have the ability to quickly identify, break down, and address technical challenges and to drive matters forward in a pragmatic way.
