Introduction Nordic Re-Finance AB is now seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager for our maintenance responsible unit, the ECM 4 function. In this role, you will play a central part in leading and developing our operational maintenance operations, which is critical to ensuring high safety, quality, and availability across our vehicle fleet. About the Role As Manager of ECM 4, you are responsible for leading maintenance operations, with a focus on ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation and internal processes. You will work closely with our vehicle managers to plan and prioritize daily work, and lead a team of technicians, warehouse, and spare parts personnel. The role combines technical leadership and operational planning, which requires a deep understanding of locomotive technology and maintenance processes. You will also collaborate with workshops and external technicians to promote knowledge sharing and improve operations. Key Responsibilities Your main areas of responsibility will include: Lead and develop the ECM 4 operation. Ensure that maintenance is performed according to applicable ECM regulations, authority requirements, and internal procedures. Responsible for planning and coordinating technical resources together with vehicle managers. Supervise and develop technicians and ensure adequate competence and staffing. Monitor maintenance activities, deviations, and corrective actions. Contribute to high vehicle availability through structured and proactive maintenance work. Participate in technical investigations, troubleshooting, and assessments as needed. Collaborate with workshops, suppliers, customers, and authorities within your area of responsibility. Contribute to the development of the company's maintenance strategies and technical processes. Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following qualifications: At least 5-10 years of experience working with railway vehicles, preferably locomotives. Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems on rail vehicles. Good knowledge of ECM regulations according to the EU's fourth railway package. Experience in work supervision and leadership qualities. Experience in planning and coordinating maintenance activities. Good administrative skills and experience in documenting, monitoring, and reporting technical activities. Experience working with safety-critical operations.
