CFO for Fast-Growing SaaS Company

We are now seeking a CFO for an expanding SaaS company that develops digital services for small and medium-sized businesses. The business is in an important growth and development phase where the focus is on creating structure, efficiency, and a scalable organization for the future. This is a role for you who thrives when things aren't pre-planned. You are drawn to having a say in setting direction, making decisions with limited information, and contributing both strategically and operationally. We're not just looking for a CFO who understands the numbers, but a person who wants to drive the business forward. About the Role As CFO, you will become one of the company's most important key people and closest partner to the CEO. You will play a central role in the company's continued development and act as a strategic sounding board on both business and operational matters. You are responsible not only for the finance function but are also expected to be a driving force in how the business is developed, managed, and prioritized. The role is business-focused and broad, with great opportunities to influence both direction and results. This is about understanding how product development, sales, marketing, and finance interact to create growth and long-term value. You will, among other things: Lead and develop the finance function Own budget, forecasts, monitoring, and financial planning Drive KPI management and develop the company's analysis and decision-making foundation Serve as a financial sounding board to sales, marketing, and product organizations Challenge the business and translate data into business decisions Drive the development of processes, system support, and AI-related initiatives Be an important contact point toward the board and group Contribute to matters related to legal, corporate governance, and risk management You are someone who loves when things happen. You thrive in environments where growth, change, and development are a natural part of everyday life, and where decisions sometimes need to be made before all answers are in place. You likely have experience from SaaS, tech, fintech, or another fast-changing business where business, technology, and finance are closely intertwined. You have a strong financial foundation but don't see yourself primarily as an accountant. You are equally comfortable discussing business model, product development, and commercial priorities as you are with financial analysis and monitoring. As a person, you are curious, driven, and engaged. You ask questions, challenge when needed, and enjoy collaborating with people from different parts of the organization. You build trust by being straightforward, unpretentious, and clear in your recommendations.
