About the role
As CFO, you have overall responsibility for Svenstigs' finance function and will become a key person in the company's continued development. You will be part of the management team and actively contribute to the company's strategic direction while ensuring efficient and quality financial management.
We are looking for you who want to take the finance function to the next level. The role is not just about managing – it is about developing. You are expected to drive modernization of working methods, processes, system support, and follow-up models to create even better decision support and increase the business's profitability.
You function as a qualified business support to the organization's managers and contribute with analyses, insights, and recommendations that help the business make the right decisions and achieve its goals.
In the role you are responsible for, among other things:
Leading, developing, and modernizing the finance function.
Ensuring accounting, financial statements, tax returns, and financial reporting.
Responsibility for budget, forecast, and business planning processes.
Driving and developing controlling, business monitoring, and KPI structure.
Conducting analyses of profitability, margins, investments, and cash flows.
Ensuring good management of inventory, capital binding, and working capital.
Being the business's natural advisor on economic and business matters.
Presenting financial results and decision support to management and the board.
Leading and developing employees within the finance function.
Identifying and initiating improvement projects that strengthen efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Who are you?
You are a business-driven and analytical finance leader with a strong interest in controlling, business management, and development. With several years of experience from leading roles in finance, you have a good understanding of how the finance function can contribute to increased profitability and better business decisions.
You thrive in the role as a business partner to management and the business and have the ability to transform complex financial information into clear analyses, insights, and decision support. Through a pedagogical and communicative working style, you make financial connections understandable and useful for the organization. You have a natural interest in digitalization, AI, and systems that both develop and modernize the business and finance function.
As a leader, you are confident, attentive, and unpretentious. You create engagement, build trusting relationships, and drive change in a way that makes people want to follow. Experience in developing teams, processes, and modern working methods is important, as is the desire to contribute to Svenstigs' continued development and growth.
