Certified Embryologist/Biomedical Analyst

We at Reproductive Medicine Center (RMC) are looking for you who are a certified embryologist or biomedical analyst for our fertility laboratory. Operations are built on teamwork around the patient, where laboratory staff work together with doctors, midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and medical administrative staff. We offer an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experience. RMC's mission is to investigate and treat involuntarily childless couples and single women, as well as fertility preservation activities. We also conduct our own donation operations with eggs and sperm. RMC also sells services to other regions, primarily Värmland and Södermanland. The unit has been certified according to ISO 9001 since 2008. Duties Duties consist of handling eggs and sperm, embryo culture and assessment, microinjection, and freezing of eggs, sperm, and embryos. Laboratory-related patient contact is also included. Weekend duty and on-call work are part of the position after training. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified embryologist, licensed biomedical analyst, or have equivalent competence. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are thorough, responsible, quality-conscious, and work in a structured manner. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, and you need to master Swedish well in both speech and writing. It is an asset if you have experience working in reproductive medicine. Previous laboratory work in, for example, sterile technique or cell culture is also seen as an advantage and may be relevant for the position. About the Operation The obstetrics and gynecology operations unit operates at Örebro University Hospital, Lindesberg, and Karlskoga hospitals. We are actively working to develop research within women's healthcare. At Örebro University Hospital, there is an obstetric section with specialist maternity care and fetal diagnostics, a delivery ward, and postpartum/follow-up care. The gynecological section has outpatient, inpatient, and acute gynecological care. There is also a fertility unit and an operating department here.
