Category Buyer – Consulting Assignment in Göteborg

We are seeking an experienced Category Buyer for a consulting assignment with our client in Göteborg. This role is ideal for you if you are confident in strategic and operational service procurement and can quickly adapt to the organization's needs. About the Assignment You will be responsible for sourcing and procurement within selected service categories, such as HR services, facility services, legal services, and other professional services. You will develop category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and serve as a procurement partner to internal business units. Key Responsibilities Drive sourcing and procurement activities according to established processes Develop and implement category strategies Negotiate commercial terms, agreements, and statements of work Analyze spend, cost structures, and supplier proposals Manage supplier relationships and internal stakeholders Ensure best possible value, quality, and contract terms What We Are Looking For Relevant higher education in economics, procurement, supply chain, or equivalent At least five years of procurement experience, with at least three years in service procurement Experience with, for example, professional services, corporate services, facility services, or HR services Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and risk management Excellent English proficiency, both spoken and written Strong analytical skills and experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders Practical Information Assignment Type: Consulting assignment Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week Location: Göteborg, on-site work Start: September 21, 2026, or by agreement Duration: Approximately six months Travel: May occur IMPORTANT!
