Fjällhalsen is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting within the ski system at Bydalsfjällen, Jämtland, 10 miles from Östersund, 10 miles from Åre. We are now hiring a new team member! We offer hourly employment in a cozy mountain environment at a small family-run business where we work to ensure everyone enjoys their job. You'll have the opportunity to work in a small team with great atmosphere and varied tasks. Direct access to excellent skiing & nature during your free time! You hopefully have previous experience in retail sales and café/restaurant service, but if you're the right person, we can overlook that. With the right attitude and personality, you're welcome regardless of background. You have a keen eye for service and love meeting guests! You enjoy working, pitch in where needed, and provide that extra touch that makes the workday enjoyable. Order and attention to detail, both in your work and with cleaning and hygiene, are givens for you. Tasks are varied, but you'll primarily work the register with sales & service. Other duties include dishwashing & cleaning, ensuring guests are happy with everything that entails, taking table orders, and serving during certain evenings. Seasonal opening December 19th and work through after Easter. Opportunity for continued extra work on certain weekends and possibly during the summer season July-August. You must have a driver's license, an interest in and feel for service, and be easy to collaborate with. Housing can possibly be arranged.
