Cykelcafé Le Mond has been around for over twelve years and is run by passionate coffee and cycling enthusiasts. Le Mond is a food café focused on delicious, well-prepared dishes made with the finest ingredients. We were previously KRAV-certified and serve mostly vegetarian food. We serve breakfast and have a lunch menu on weekdays and a brunch menu on weekends. Our hours are weekdays 08:00 - 20:00 and weekends 09:30 - 16:00. Our team includes two kitchen assistants and one full-time barista on weekdays, plus approximately 15 staff members working part-time on weekends. We speak Swedish and English. We have relatively low staff turnover and there is great passion for food, coffee, and service. We are now looking for 1-2 café assistants to work primarily weekends but also weekdays. Both in the kitchen and café. Start date: August. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working at a café or restaurant. NOTE: THIS IS A REQUIREMENT! Pays attention to detail and is passionate about giving guests a maximum experience. Takes responsibility for the energy in the room. Brings positive vibes, is inclusive, chill, socially gifted, and creates an atmosphere where people want to hang out often. Is a hard worker. It's very fun and social to work at a café, but honestly, it's a long and demanding workday with cleaning, tidying, closing procedures, and repetitive tasks. Half fun, half tedious work, but all equally important. Focuses on details. A café consists of 1,000 small components that must be just right. Adjust, tighten, set, feel, squint, smell, listen. Is responsible. Makes sure the kitchen stays spotless at all times. Is a good communicator and information receiver. Responds to messages in the chat group, communicates with colleagues and the employer. Can communicate reasonably well in Swedish, café Swedish. If you perform according to the above, you will have a good and kind laid-back boss and accommodating colleagues. But if you're sloppy with your tasks, you will have a boss who will relentlessly nag you until the details are right. Working hours are weekdays approximately 7-21 Monday to Friday (day/evening shifts) plus weekends 08:30-17. It's important that you can work during the summer. We are covered by a collective agreement; wages and conditions are regulated.
