About the Position
As a production technologist specializing in CAD/CAM, you will play a central role in our production engineering team. You are responsible for developing and optimizing our machining processes through advanced programming and optimization in a CAD/CAM environment.
You work closely with production and ensure that our machines run with stable, quality-assured, and efficient programs. The role involves overall responsibility where you contribute both operationally and in terms of development.
Key Responsibilities
Your main tasks include:
Develop and optimize CNC programs in CAD/CAM environment
Create efficient machining strategies tailored to our machines
Work with CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation in the planning process
Design fixture solutions, tool setups, and production documentation
Improve cycle times, quality, and process stability in production
Provide technical support to operators in CAM and programming
Participate in development and continuous improvement efforts related to machine processing (Siemens and Heidenhain control systems)
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology who thrives in a role where programming and process development are in focus.
We would like you to have:
Experience with CAD/CAM programming within CNC machining
Strong knowledge of cutting processes and tool optimization
Experience working with CAD models and technical drawings
Technical education in machine shop/industrial field or equivalent professional experience
Ability to analyze and improve existing machining processes
A solution-oriented approach and good collaboration skills
