About the Role Would you like to work as a Construction Claims Adjuster in insurance and construction, responsible for claims within private, business, and agricultural insurance? At Dina Försäkringar Väst, you'll be part of a team that handles construction claims throughout the entire claims process – from initial customer contact through assessment, inspection, and final settlement. The role is based in Uddevalla or Vara and combines office work, 80%, with customer visits, 20%. You'll manage your own claims with considerable autonomy and responsibility while working closely with colleagues, contractors, and other partners. The goal is to create efficient claims handling with clear communication and a positive customer experience. This position is in an organization that continues to invest in digital development and growth. Key Responsibilities Handle construction claims for private, business, and agricultural insurance. Manage the entire claims process from claim notification through decision and compensation payment. Review estimates, quotations, and other documentation related to claims. Inspect construction damage on-site at customer locations and coordinate communication with contractors and partners. Document cases and make well-founded decisions based on insurance terms and applicable procedures. Contribute to the team's shared work by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues when needed. About You We're seeking someone with experience from the construction industry, construction claims adjustment, or similar work where you've handled building technical assessments and customer interactions. You enjoy combining independent work with close collaboration and have the ability to build trust even in situations where the customer is facing a challenging situation. We'd like you to have: Post-secondary education. Experience in construction claims adjustment at an insurance company or from contracting work. Good knowledge of MEPS. Experience with Microsoft 365, such as Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. Good administrative skills and experience documenting and managing cases in business systems. Driver's license (Class B), as the role involves on-site inspections at customer locations. As a person, you are responsible, analytical, and organized. You enjoy collaborating with others, communicate clearly in speech and writing, and work with a service-oriented and business-minded approach. You are solution-focused, unpretentious, and confident in making decisions within your area of responsibility.
