Construction Manager - Road Markings

About the Role We are looking for you to use your expertise to ensure high quality in road maintenance and operations work. If you have previous experience in construction management/work supervision and want to develop in an engaged group that is passionate about their work, then this is the role for you. About the Role As a construction manager with us, you will become an important part of Road Survey Technology (RST) – the leading player in Nordic road maintenance. You will be part of a skilled team of approximately 10 people and be responsible for construction management in the Fyrbodal area. The work takes place in close collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration's project manager and contractors engaged by them. You should be based somewhere between Gothenburg and Karlstad and surrounding areas. The work is seasonal and most intensive in the spring. Your Main Responsibilities: Perform condition assessments/surveys Work in the Swedish Transport Administration's LINA system Participate in meetings with the Swedish Transport Administration and contractors Follow-up and inspections Are You the One We're Looking For? To succeed in this role, you need: At least five years of experience working in the road markings industry Work experience in construction management/work supervision Ability to have flexible working hours Good communication skills and strong commitment to your work Good planning skills and experience taking responsibility for your assignments Good computer skills and knowledge of working in Microsoft Office Understanding of what seasonal work entails Class B driving license (a requirement) Marking out/surveying is not included in the role, but knowledge of this is meritorious.
