Construction Manager - Escalator Replacement Citybanan

DB FAST is seeking an experienced construction manager for a long-term assignment involving the replacement and modernization of escalators in Citybanan station environments. The assignment encompasses construction management, coordination, and monitoring in a complex infrastructure project where accessibility, operational reliability, and safety are central to the project's execution. About the Assignment As construction manager, you will be part of the project organization and work closely with project managers, contractors, and technical specialists. The role involves contributing to structure, progress, and quality assurance through construction management, coordination, and monitoring of the project's various phases, from planning and implementation to handover. Work is conducted in traffic-adjacent environments with high requirements for work environment, logistics, safety, passenger flows, and technical interfaces. Example Work Tasks Construction manage contracts related to escalator replacement and modernization Support the project manager in ongoing project work and ensure project progress Coordinate contractors, technical specialists, operations and maintenance functions, and other relevant parties Monitor schedule, cost, quality, and implementation in the project's various phases Handle project administration, documentation, and reporting Participate in construction meetings, design meetings, and coordination meetings Monitor risks, measures, and deviations and contribute to improvement initiatives Ensure work is carried out in accordance with applicable requirements for work environment, safety, and accessibility Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover to facility management Contribute to structure and quality in the project's documentation and monitoring Qualifications We are looking for you with: Several years of experience as a construction manager within construction, infrastructure, stations, or technical installation projects Experience with projects in traffic-adjacent or critical infrastructure environments Strong knowledge of contract management, building processes, and project monitoring Experience coordinating between contractors, technical disciplines, and facility management organizations Ability to work structured, independently, and solution-oriented Good communication skills and experience collaborating with many different stakeholders Very strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Assignment Period and Scope Start: September 2026 End: August 2034 Scope: Approximately 20 hours per week Location: Stockholm. Work is conducted primarily in station and facility environments with some possibility for administrative work remotely depending on project needs.
