We are seeking a site manager for the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) to work with site monitoring, coordination, and production support. This is a 2-year consulting assignment with placement in Luleå. Assignment start is no earlier than 2026-09-30 and no later than 2026-12-01. Utilization rate is 50% during 2026 and 80-100% from 2027 onwards. About the CompanyTrafikverket is one of Sweden's largest commissioners of infrastructure projects and is responsible for planning, procuring, and implementing some of the country's most complex investments in transport infrastructure. The Major Projects division operates projects such as Norrbotniabanan, Förbifart Stockholm, Ostlänken, and Västlänken. About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Site Manager for Ground and Structural Works for the Luleå C project within Norrbotniabanan. The assignment involves working as a resource consultant in the client's project organization, working closely with project management on site monitoring, coordination, and production support in a strategically important infrastructure project. Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will among other things: Participate in production-technical solutions on site. Responsible for daily contact with the contractor to ensure good cooperation and progress. Monitor and follow up on the contractor's work and report within your area of responsibility. Identify problem areas and assist the project manager with decision-making materials regarding preventive and corrective measures. Cooperate with site managers in adjacent contracts. Ensure that required permits, building permissions, and other prerequisites are in place. Maintain a log of important events and review the contractor's documentation. Follow up on work environment requirements and the contractor's self-inspections, inspection plans, and work preparations. Participate in inspections and review of final documentation and relationship documents. Participate in coordination with municipalities, stakeholders, external parties, and adjacent projects. Represent and attend meetings and contacts with external stakeholders. Required QualificationsWe require that you meet all of the following mandatory requirements: 1 At least 7 years of experience as a site manager in Ground and Structural Works during the past 15 years, with an average employment rate of at least 50% per claimed year. 2 Experience from at least 3 different projects where you have been responsible as site manager for new construction of railway bridges or road bridges over or under railway, for at least 3 consecutive months per project. 3 Completed and approved training in Concrete Class 1. 4 Experience with ABK 09 and AB 04. 5 Category B driving license. 6 Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious Experience and QualitiesThe following are considered meriting: 1 Documented years of experience in project or construction management of contracts for public clients beyond the minimum requirements. 2 High initiative with documented proactivity, independence, and ability to drive improvements. 3 Ability to identify and manage problems before they arise. 4 Innovative working approach and ability to provide new solutions and improvement suggestions. Assignment InformationAssignment: Site Manager for Ground and Structural Works Luleå C, Norrbotniabanan. Assignment Period: 24 months from the contract's effective date. Extension Option: 1 + 1 year. Work Hours: Normal working hours 40 hours per week. Work is normally conducted between 07:00-18:00. Utilization Rate: 50% during 2026 and 80-100% from 2027 onwards. Placement Location: Luleå. Office Presence: High presence at site office and project office is expected. Remote work can be arranged by agreement. Assignment Start: No later than 2026-12-01, with the possibility to start from 2026-09-30 if the contract has entered into force. Travel: Business travel may occur, approximately one trip per month.
