Our mission is truly important – become part of Vattenfall Eldistribution! We are now seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Ground and Infrastructure to strengthen our team. Responsibilities and Tasks: As a construction manager at Vattenfall, you have a central role in our investment projects, primarily within cable projects but also in certain substation projects. You are responsible for staffing and supporting projects as well as ensuring that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and with high quality. The role is varied and combines project work with regular site visits. An important part of the assignment is also to procure, manage, and follow up external construction managers as well as to support and collaborate with project managers through different phases of projects. You have great freedom to plan and structure your work with significant personal responsibility, including when and how project travels are conducted. Job Requirements We are looking for someone with: Multiple years of experience in construction and infrastructure projects, including contractor management, inspections, and work on large projects Documented experience with infrastructure projects or construction projects with focus on ground and infrastructure. Experience with cable projects and construction management in large projects is advantageous Good knowledge of contractor law and industry standards such as AB 04, AMA, and MER Anläggning. Experience with ABT 06 is advantageous Experience working with construction contracts, including notifications, change order handling, and monitoring of time, cost, and quality B-class driver's license is a requirement Communication skills in Swedish and English To thrive and succeed in this role, you are someone who collaborates well with others and easily builds relationships. You will have many points of contact, both internally and externally, and need to communicate clearly and constructively, even in situations where conditions change or projects do not go according to plan. The role also involves negotiations, which requires good communication skills and a professional approach. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple issues in parallel. At the same time, you are comfortable handling uncertainty and changing conditions. Because the business is characterized by a dynamic project environment, you need to be flexible and able to make well-founded decisions even when all information is not available.
