About the Operation Our team includes various professionals such as physicians, nurses/district nurses, nursing assistants, counselors, medical secretaries, operations developers, care and rehabilitation coordinators, midwives, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. The assignment for Primary Care in Dalarna is formulated in agreement with the Care Selection Unit. Work at BVC is conducted with support from the BHV Unit and the national base program. Job Responsibilities We are seeking a District/Child Health Nurse to share responsibility at BVC. Job duties may vary over time. As a BVC nurse, you work with healthcare for children aged 0-5 years and their families. You follow children's development through health visits, vaccinations, parental support, and health promotion initiatives. Work is conducted in close collaboration with physicians, psychologists, maternal health services, and other professionals around the child. You will have meaningful, developmental, exciting, and varied work with opportunities for regular professional development through the BHV Unit. You actively assist parents through scheduled visits, parent groups, telephone counseling, home visits, and strengthen their confidence in their own competence and problem-solving skills according to the Child Health Service's national program. Qualifications Requirements: - Licensed specialist nurse with a focus on district nursing or healthcare for children and adolescents - Valid driver's license (Category B) Merits: - Experience from primary care/BVC - Experience working with our medical records system Cosmic Personal Qualities: You demonstrate professional conduct in your interactions with children and their families and build trust. Work within BHV requires strong child competence and a child perspective. You should have strong collaborative skills with other agencies while working independently, taking responsibility for your assignment, and being flexible and stress-resilient.
