Professional Qualification Requirements for Candidates:
Secondary or secondary vocational education;
Desirable: Category B driving license;
Experience in construction work;
State language proficiency;
Ability to independently plan, organize, and complete assigned tasks while meeting established deadlines;
Ability to work in a team, organizing task completion in cooperation with other institution employees.
Main Job Responsibilities and Required Skills
Regularly monitor and maintain in proper condition the territory, roads, recreational areas, parks, and technical and visual condition of road signs managed by the Municipal Service;
Repair landscaping elements damaged by vandalism or traffic accidents;
Perform minor repair work in the territory managed by the Municipal Service and in other Salaspils Municipality institutions, transport furniture and equipment, maintain skating rinks during winter, install road signs, repair emergency potholes, etc.;
During winter, in case of heavy snowfall or icing, clear snow cover and salt-sand mixture from pedestrian paths owned by the municipality that cannot be maintained mechanically, as well as public transport stops and pedestrian crossings.
