Construction Project Manager

Project Manager Property Department, Construction Management, Investment and Development Projects Management Division Position Purpose: To ensure the construction process for real estate of Riga City Municipality (hereinafter – Municipality), including shelters meeting civil protection requirements, in projects with external financing, as well as to perform the functions of construction works client. Your Responsibilities: Implement investment and development projects, including monitoring budget and timeline; Prepare technical specifications and work scope necessary for construction work, including shelters meeting civil protection requirements, their adaptation and equipment, including cost estimates needed for public procurement procedures or investment plan and Municipality budget preparation; Ensure organization and coordination of construction process participants; Organize technical condition assessment of facilities, prepare closure documentation and develop proposals for construction and design work; Prepare reports on completed projects. We Expect: Higher education in construction; Understanding and knowledge of project management; At least 3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in state, municipal institutions or capital companies; Preferred experience managing construction projects with external financing; Knowledge of construction processes and regulatory acts governing construction; State language proficiency at advanced level; Proficiency in working with computers in MS Office environment, as well as BIS system; Ability to collect, systematize and analyze information; Strong organizational and management skills, strategic thinking.
