A MUNICIPALITY WITH RAPIDLY GROWING EXPORT CAPACITY IN THE REGION AND OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPLEMENT BOLD IDEAS IN A DEVELOPMENT-ORIENTED LOCAL GOVERNMENT Līvānu Municipal Building Authority invites to join our team BUILDING INSPECTOR Requirements for Candidates Second-level professional higher education in architecture, construction, or related engineering study programs; Independent practice rights in construction or architecture – building specialist certificate; Must be registered in the Building Inspector Registry; Minimum two years of professional experience in matters within the competence of the Building Authority; Good computer and office equipment skills; experience working with the Building Information System; Experience working with the BIS system; Knowledge and understanding of currently applicable regulations governing construction and administrative processes; Good collaboration and communication skills; State language proficiency at an advanced level. Key Responsibilities Monitor compliance with Building Law requirements within the scope of the position's competence; Verify fulfillment of conditions for commencing construction work; Organize acceptance of construction objects into operation; Verify that construction work complies with the construction project and regulatory requirements; Upon detecting unauthorized construction, deviations from the construction project, or other violations specified in regulatory acts, halt construction work, prepare an appropriate opinion, and initiate an administrative violation procedure; Monitor the safety of structures accepted into operation; Participate in the review of construction intent documents, submissions, construction projects, and territorial planning documents submitted to the Building Authority; Application must contain: Curriculum vitae (CV); Motivated application letter; Recommendations (if available); Copies of documents certifying higher education. We Offer: Full-time employment for an indefinite period with workplace at Rīgas Street 77, Līvāni; According to Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 262 of 26.04.2022, corresponding to level II of occupation family 28.3, group 7 salary scale, remuneration starting from EUR 1766.00 per month before tax deduction. During the trial period, the monthly salary is set at 90% of the minimum salary set for the position.
