We are looking for a colleague – Building Inspector (occupation code 2422 54) Work duties must be performed in accordance with the Building Law and other regulatory acts. Key job responsibilities monitor compliance with Building Law requirements within the scope of office competence; verify fulfillment of conditions for commencement of construction work; organize acceptance of construction sites into operation; suspend and stop construction work in accordance with regulatory legal act requirements; prepare opinions, issue certificates, make decisions and provide consultations on construction control and building operation matters. Requirements for candidates professional higher education in the field of architecture in an architect study program or in the field of construction in a structural engineer study program, at least two years of experience in areas related to job duties, construction practice or architect practice certificate and registration in the Building Inspectors Register, knowledge of regulatory acts related to job duties, experience working with the Construction Information System, understanding of the Administrative Violation Process Support System, good cooperation and communication skills, ability to work in a team, Category B driver's license. We offer work in a modern, results-oriented municipality, monthly salary starting from 2098 EUR (before tax payment), a standard 40-hour work week with the possibility to perform part of the work remotely, social guarantees in accordance with those established in public administration, health insurance (after probation period), support for professional development, a workplace at Raunas iela 4, Cēsis, Cēsu Municipality, if the new specialist's actual or declared place of residence is outside the administrative territory of Cēsu Municipality, the specialist has the possibility to apply for residential space.
