Building Inspector

The State Construction Control Bureau announces an open competition for a vacant position of Building Inspector in the Construction Control Department, Construction Works Control Division (2 positions for an indefinite period) If you believe that building safety is important for future generations, and you are ready for new challenges, join the State Construction Control Bureau! Main duties of the position: - ensure the legality of the construction process and compliance with regulatory requirements by preparing opinions, making decisions, or providing information to construction participants and relevant institutions for further action; - ensure the assessment of building readiness for commissioning by reviewing relevant documents and organizing site inspections; - ensure supervisory control of public buildings in operation by preparing opinions and providing information to building owners or their authorized representatives, as well as relevant institutions for further action; - ensure representation of the Bureau's interests in state administration institutions, municipalities, international institutions, as well as in relations with natural and legal persons and foreign experts within the scope of competence. We expect that you have: - compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; - professional higher education in architecture (architect study program) or construction (civil engineer study program); - at least two years of experience in a field related to the duties of the position; - construction practice or architect practice certificate and registration in the Building Inspectors Register; - independent practice in architecture or construction of at least two years following receipt of a construction specialist certificate, obtained within the last five years; - experience in the application of industry terminology, industry-related regulatory acts and standards; - ability to work in an intensive intellectual work mode, performing assigned tasks precisely and promptly, high resilience in stressful situations; - high responsibility, accuracy, good communication skills and presentation abilities; - excellent command of the state language (C level); - excellent MS Office software skills; - Category B driving license.
