A MUNICIPALITY WITH THE REGION'S FASTEST-GROWING EXPORT CAPACITY AND OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPLEMENT BOLD IDEAS IN A DEVELOPMENT-ORIENTED LOCAL GOVERNMENT Līvānu novada Building Department invites to join our team BUILDING INSPECTOR Requirements for Candidates Second-level professional higher education in architecture, construction, or related engineering study programs; Independent practice rights in construction or architecture – building specialist certificate; Must be registered in the Building Inspectors Register; Minimum two years of professional experience in matters within the Building Department's competence; Good computer and office equipment skills, experience working with the Construction Information System; Experience working with the BIS system; Knowledge and understanding of current construction process and administrative procedure regulations; Good collaboration and communication skills; State language proficiency at an advanced level. Main Responsibilities Monitor compliance with Construction Law requirements within the scope of the position's competence; Verify fulfillment of conditions for commencing construction work; Organize acceptance of construction projects into operation; Verify that construction work complies with the construction project and regulatory requirements; When detecting unauthorized construction, deviations from the construction project, or other regulatory violations, halt construction work, prepare an appropriate report, and initiate an administrative offense process; Monitor the safety of structures accepted into operation; Participate in the examination of construction project documents, submissions, construction projects, and territorial planning documents submitted to the Building Department; Application Must Include: Curriculum vitae (CV); Motivated cover letter; Recommendations (if any); Copies of documents confirming higher education. We Offer: Full-time employment for an indefinite period with work location at Rīgas iela 77, Līvāni; According to the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 262 of 26.04.2022, corresponding to position family II level, salary group 7, compensation starting from EUR 1,766.00 per month before tax deduction. During the trial period, the monthly salary is set at 90% of the minimum salary established for the position.
