The Ditt Café brand is owned and managed by four companies: Stigs Café och Bageri AB, Agdas Café in Apladalen, Bernts Konditori AB, and Bernards Konditori AB. Under this brand, we operate 9 cafés and one production facility/office located in Gnosjö. We conduct business at five locations within Jönköping County and employ around 70 staff members.

About You
We are looking for a retail sales associate who can step in as store manager at our Livingroom café while our current manager takes an extended parental leave. We are looking for someone who is stress-resilient, responsible, and action-oriented. You have a passion for service, are solution-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You feel confident taking independent responsibility and have the ability to quickly handle unexpected situations. You lead the team in a secure and clear manner, can delegate tasks efficiently, and always have a smile ready to create a positive experience for both guests and colleagues.
Since you will need to be the alcohol-responsible person on-site for certain shifts, you must be at least 20 years old for this position according to the law on the serving of alcohol:
6 § A person who has not reached the age of 20 or who has a guardian according to Chapter 11, Section 7 of the Parental Code may not conduct business activities that involve the sale of alcoholic beverages or alcohol-like preparations. Law (2019:345).
Your Responsibilities
In your role as store manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the store (such as inventory management, alcohol handling, event planning, and ordering) as well as handling some scheduling, including during absences and changes. You will conduct employee meetings, work strategically toward the store's set goals, and are driven by reaching and exceeding budget targets. You are creative, dare to think outside the box, and test new ideas to develop the business. The role also involves close collaboration with the group's store manager.
Together with your staff, you will handle the cash register and meet customers daily. You have a strong passion for service and ensuring customers have the best experience with us.
We also constantly work with events and conferences, which become a natural part of your work. Working mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends is a natural part of the position; the job currently includes every third weekend.
What We Offer
We offer you independent, developing, and educational work with good salary and employment terms. The position is at 80% with the possibility of more hours down the line.
This is a permanent position with an initial probation period of 6 months.
