Store Sales Associate for Lekia/Babya with Responsibility for Baby Department

Lekia/Babya in Sisjön is now hiring a store sales associate at 75% who wants to combine sales and service with special responsibility for the store's Baby Department (strollers, car seats, and baby products). About the Position: As a store sales associate at Lekia/Babya, you'll have a varied role where sales, service, and responsibility go hand in hand. You'll work throughout the store handling customer interactions, cashier duties, product picking, and deliveries alongside your colleagues. Beyond daily store operations, you'll have special responsibility for the Baby Department, where you can use your product knowledge and help develop the department. You'll become a key knowledge resource in this area and maintain ongoing contact with customers, suppliers, and field sales representatives. Your Responsibilities: Manage and contribute to the development of the Baby Department Provide personalized service and guidance with a strong focus on baby products Participate in ordering, order placement, and assortment planning Plan and execute campaigns within your area of responsibility Handle complaints and perform basic repairs of items such as strollers, including tire and tube replacements and other parts Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and field sales representatives Stay updated on products, news, and safety standards in the field Serve as a knowledge resource and ambassador for the baby segment to colleagues Participate in daily store operations including cashier duties, product picking, and deliveries Qualifications: We're looking for someone with previous sales and service experience and basic product knowledge in the baby segment. You have knowledge of strollers, car seats, and other products for young children and feel confident guiding customers based on their needs. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have previous sales and service experience, preferably in retail Have basic product knowledge of strollers, car seats, and other products for young children Have consultative sales experience and feel comfortable with customer interactions Feel comfortable guiding customers and answering product-related questions Have a genuine interest in the baby segment and a desire to continuously stay updated on products and assortment As a person, you are confident, responsible, and service-oriented. You enjoy working with others, gladly share your knowledge, and are unpretentious in daily work. At the same time, you like taking ownership and driving your area forward. Additional Information Hours: 75% Start Date: Immediate Work Schedule: Hours include both weekdays and weekends. You will work every other weekend. Contract: Lekia/Babya applies the Retail collective agreement. Store Hours: The store is located at Sisjövägen 45 in Askim and is open weekdays 10–19 and weekends 10–17.
