Description:

Do you love food and are ready for a career where people are at the center? At City Gross, everything we do is about helping and inspiring our customers to enjoy a better everyday life. Our heart beats a little extra for fresh produce and we believe in people. We believe we become better when we have diverse backgrounds and experiences. Whether you're showcasing freshly harvested vegetables, cutting the perfect piece of meat, ensuring shelves are always well-stocked, or creating promotions that meet our customers' needs, everyone here has one goal: to create an amazing customer experience. About the Job Position details: Permanent employment at 26 hours per week, probationary period applies. Start date: September 1, 2026 or by agreement. Work hours: Early mornings, late evenings, and weekends are a natural part of the work. You perfect the customer experience You have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers' visits, so you have an important role in making the experience smooth and enjoyable. This could mean a friendly smile, an unexpected question, or a helpful attitude so the customer finds what they need in the store. You should ensure the customer leaves satisfied—and ideally with an extra item in their basket and a good feeling! What will you do? Each day brings new meetings and challenges, but some of your main tasks are: Ensure customers leave the store with everything on their shopping list (and perhaps an extra item or new inspiration). Work with restocking and create a pleasant store environment with well-stocked and attractive shelves. Contribute to order and tidiness in the store—cleanliness and neatness are a given. Collaborate with colleagues throughout the store—we're a team and help where needed! Who are you? You're a natural problem-solver who enjoys pace and energy. A friendly hello and an extra helping hand are a given for you. Do you have a strong interest in food and selling products? Great! If you've worked in retail before—even better! We believe you: Have completed upper secondary education and master Swedish in speech and writing. Since our customers speak more languages, it's wonderful if you do too. Love meeting customers and believe service should be genuine and engaged. Enjoy doing things together and contribute with energy and joy. Are curious, solution-oriented, and see when something needs to be done—and you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get it done! What do you get? Secure conditions—We have collective agreements with Handels and Unionen. Affordable food basket—You get employee discount on everything from fancy weekend dinners to quick weekday fixes. Parental leave with extra security—we offer enhanced parental benefits according to collective agreement so you can enjoy your new family member a little extra. A healthier and more energetic body and mind—We care about your health and offer wellness allowance so you can stay active in the way that suits you best. Real career opportunities—We have opportunities to grow! Many of our store managers started right where you are now. Does this sound like something for you? Submit your application—we look forward to meeting you! If you want to know more about what the position involves, contact Angelica Lundh, [email protected]. We'd appreciate it if you submit your application as soon as possible, as the position may be filled before the application deadline of August 12, 2026.
