As a sales associate, your primary task is to make customers feel comfortable, welcome, and to ensure they find the right products and solutions during their visit. With commitment, personal responsibility, and initiative, you and your colleagues enhance the shopping experience at Clas Ohlson. In a service-oriented manner, you actively engage with customers and create customer interactions, answer questions, and share information about our products. Your role also includes working the register and being part of the merchandise flow, such as restocking. This is a fixed-term position of approximately 3 hours per week starting by agreement. Clas Ohlson always applies a 6-month probationary period for permanent employment. To achieve this, you will: Be available and proactively contact customers while always striving to provide world-class customer service Have the mindset of satisfying every customer, regardless of situation, but within given boundaries Participate in all store tasks and follow routines and procedures Contribute to developing customer interactions, store routines, and work processes Assist in introducing and training new employees and colleagues Help ensure that store areas, back room, and office are clean and well-organized Who are we looking for? Completed secondary education, with merit for education in Sales and Service programs (formerly Commerce and Administration) or other comparable education Work experience in service professions and/or in any of our product categories is a merit Good Swedish and English language skills, both spoken and written You must be at least 18 years old to work with us We believe that you who apply for this position are passionate about customer interactions and driven by working with sales.
