We are all different. And that's wonderful! We don't hire people based on a template, but based on who you are. For us, drive and personality matter more than experience and background. We're doing well and growing rapidly. Now we're looking for more happy team members with the right attitude and a desire to develop!
We're looking for you—someone who loves food, people, and sales, and wants to be part of our great team at Willys Örebro Västhaga! In short, your job is to help our customers shop for good and sustainable food at great prices.
Job Details: Permanent full-time position, probationary period applies
Start Date: By agreement
Work Hours: You will vary between early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends
Requirements: Upper secondary education, strong Swedish skills (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but in accordance with the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 Chapter 8 and Appendix 2, we do not employ people under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks.
More about the role:
Together with your colleagues, you'll manage the varied daily operations in the grocery department, ensuring the store is well-stocked and looks great. You may also work with picking, packing, and delivering e-commerce items.
You'll meet our customers with knowledge, tact, and a big smile, whether they need help finding an item or paying for it.
After a while, you'll also place orders, plan sales, and help the store reach its sales and profitability targets.
About Us
For us, the right attitude and desire to develop matter more than experience and education. We work together as a team, because we believe genuine good collaboration delivers the best results—and we have fun doing it.
More about us:
We are party to the Retail Employees' collective agreement, which includes great benefits such as pension, insurance, and generous overtime compensation.
You'll receive wellness allowance, employee discount, and special employee offers after a period of employment.
Our passion is making sure everyone can afford good food. For example, we open our own stores in socially disadvantaged areas and help others open social food stores.
Sustainability is important to us, and we work constantly to reduce food waste.
We give you great opportunities to grow through different responsibilities and training programs. Many who started their journey as shop associates at Willys are now team leaders, store managers, or have specialist roles at our support office.

About You
Willys is constantly growing and developing, and you love doing the same. You're eager to learn new things, enjoy being challenged, and are driven by taking on greater responsibility. It's also great if you:
Notice when something needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and get it done.
It's an advantage if you've worked in retail or customer service, but it's not required.
You speak, write, and understand Swedish. Many of our customers speak more than one language, so if you do too, that's fantastic!
