What you can expect from the role As Department Manager, you are responsible for the store's automotive department. This means you are the management team's extended arm in the operation. Your responsibility includes ensuring that the department is always well-organized, sales-focused and customer-ready with well-stocked and inviting shelves. You create inspiring seasonal displays, come up with suggestions for products that fit the end caps and cross-selling opportunities. Order and organization is one of our core values, and in this role you ensure that signage and directions are clear and correct. You are also responsible for the department's inventory. An important part of your role is to motivate and engage your colleagues and share your knowledge of the department's products. Together with your colleagues, you pick up merchandise and coach them to provide Biltema's customers with the best possible service. You are a team player who values close collaboration with other department managers where you are happy to exchange ideas and experiences. We would like to see that you have a genuine passion for your product areas and care about a safe environment for both customers and colleagues. This is a permanent position that starts with a 6-month probationary period. Employment is full-time, 38.25 hours/week. For you, it is natural to go the extra mile to achieve results. You also have an eye for sales-driving displays and efficient merchandise placement. Challenges motivate you and you thrive with a fast-paced work environment where new ideas are sought. It is important that you have an interest in Biltema's range and product areas. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability; as a manager you must be communicative in both Swedish and English and possess the ability to convey goals and the path to achieve them to your colleagues.
