Store Manager for Pasago – New Establishment in Gold Trading in Västerås

Pasago is a Danish, rapidly growing company in gold trading and valuables that will open its first Swedish store in Västerås in the fall of 2026. Pasago is an established gold buying and pawn chain with a modern, secure, and customer-focused business model. The company also operates NordiskGuld.se, where private individuals can easily and safely sell their gold. Now Pasago is taking the next step and establishing its gold buying operations in Sweden, with a focus on purchasing and valuing gold, jewelry, and other valuables. We are looking for a confident, driven, and business-oriented Store Manager who wants to be involved from the very beginning and build up the operation together with us. This is a role for someone who thrives in an environment where a lot is happening, where you have great opportunities to influence both working methods and customer experience, and where you are simultaneously a central part of the company's establishment and future expansion in Sweden. The position should be filled immediately or by agreement. About the role As Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a secure and professional store environment where customers feel welcome and valued. You will initially work alone in the store and have broad responsibilities, from daily operations to gold valuation and building structures. Training in gold valuation will be provided by experienced colleagues, and clear processes are in place. As the operation grows, you will be responsible for recruiting and forming your own team at the store. You will play an important role in developing Pasago's presence in the Swedish market. Your areas of responsibility Build up the store's routines, processes, and working methods from the start. Meet customers and conduct tests, valuations, and purchases of gold. Ensure that all routines comply with applicable regulations, including AML/KYC. Create a secure, accessible, and professional customer experience. Drive sales, monitor key metrics, and take full responsibility for the store's results. Recruit and develop staff as the store grows. Contribute to the establishment of additional stores in Sweden over time. We are looking for you who Have experience in store operations and preferably management in a retail environment. Are experienced working in roles with high trust and customer contact. Are organized, thorough, and confident in following routines and processes. Have good administrative skills and basic financial understanding. Are self-driven, take initiative, and enjoy broad responsibility. Have high integrity and professional conduct. Experience from pawn shops, gold/jewelry, or premium retail is a merit, but not required. Who are you as a person?
