All store managers in the region meet four times a year and exchange knowledge and experience to continuously develop our operations for the better. This joint development work is led by a regional manager who will become your direct supervisor. Job Description As a store manager at Hemtex, you have overall responsibility for the store's results and daily operations. You also have personnel responsibility for the store's employees and actively work to create a good work environment and strong team spirit. Your mission is to lead the sales team to create fantastic shopping experiences for our customers in an inspiring store environment. You will yourself work actively in the store with customer interactions both at the checkout and on the floor, merchandise handling and display, and be a present sales leader for your employees. You will, for example, be responsible for: The visual and personal sales work in the store Analyzing key figures and translating insights into concrete action plans to strengthen the store's profitability Leading and motivating your employees based on our vision and values to become their best selves and achieve set goals Staffing and organizing operations with efficiency and increased sales as the starting point Recruiting and introducing new employees in collaboration with the regional manager Continuously working to build broad product knowledge for yourself and your employees Your Profile We believe that you, like us, always put the customer in focus and are passionate about sales and service. We are seeking someone who has: At least two years of experience working as a store manager, or alternatively at least two years of store experience combined with other leadership experience. Experience with budget responsibility and sales analysis Strong leadership qualities with the ability to develop and engage employees It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education in retail, economics, or management. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
