Hemtex in Fältöversten is part of the Stockholm Region, which consists of 20 stores. All store managers in the region meet four times a year to exchange knowledge and experience to continuously improve our operations. This shared development work is led by a regional manager who will be your direct supervisor.
Job Description
As a store manager at Hemtex, you have overall responsibility for the store's results and daily operations. You also have personnel responsibility for the store's employees and actively work to create a good work environment and strong team spirit. Your mission is to lead the sales team to create fantastic shopping experiences for our customers in an inspiring store environment. You will actively work in the store yourself with customer interactions at both the checkout and on the floor, merchandise handling and displays, and be a present sales leader for your employees. You will be responsible for, for example:
The visual and personal sales work in the store
Analyzing key figures and translating insights into concrete action plans to strengthen the store's profitability
Leading and motivating your employees based on our vision and values to become their best selves and reach set goals
Staffing and organizing operations with efficiency and increased sales as the starting point
Recruiting and introducing new employees in collaboration with the regional manager
Continuously working to develop broad product knowledge for yourself and your employees

We are looking for someone who has:
At least two years of experience working as a store manager, or alternatively at least two years of store experience combined with other management experience
Experience with budget responsibility and sales analysis
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and engage employees
It is a merit if you have post-secondary education in retail, economics, or management.
