As Store Manager at Coop, you have overall responsibility for the store's results, operations, and development. You lead daily work, coach employees, and create an inspiring store environment that ensures satisfied customers. Together with the regional manager and management team, you set goals and drive improvements that develop both the team and the store. In this role, you are Coop's local representative and a role model for our values, vision, and member promise. As Store Manager, you are a present and coaching leader who creates engagement, motivation, and a strong performance culture. You work systematically on development, work environment, and safety within the store team. Your work includes: Lead and develop sales managers within Product and Customer Flow through PU conversations, coaching, and follow-up Anchor goals and vision and create job satisfaction and engagement Drive competence development and staffing, and ensure the right person in the right place Take responsibility for recruitment, onboarding, and rehabilitation Ensure compliance with labor law, agreements, policies, and work environment guidelines Lead the store's safety and quality work Implement and follow up employee surveys Contribute to Coop's management pipeline process and identify future leaders In addition to your leadership and strategic responsibility, you also participate in the store's daily operations. You contribute to creating a welcoming and inspiring environment. You deliver first-class service, work the checkout when needed, and help with team picking, restocking, and facing so the store always looks inviting. You are also responsible for signage, label maintenance, and keeping both the store and surrounding area clean and pleasant. This is a full-time position of 40 h/week. We use probation periods. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evenings, and weekends. Start date is by agreement. Recruitment is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Education Upper secondary education is required. Post-secondary education in economics or other relevant field is highly meritorious. Management training is highly meritorious. Experience/Competence The position requires experience and competence in retail regarding sales and preferably leadership. Documented very strong experience managing personnel. Documented strong results in operations with own P&L responsibility. Documented experience leading change and improvement initiatives. Computer skills with the Office package. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. Previous experience with scheduling is meritorious. Previous experience with labor law/work environment is meritorious. The pace in the store will at times be very high, which is why stress tolerance and planning ability are important qualities.
