You will play a central role in developing the operation, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring high quality in operational delivery. The position is based abroad and requires you to be ready to relocate from Sweden. This position is conducted on behalf of a leading and well-renowned company in the service sector. ABOUT THE ROLE As Business Manager – Logistics, you are responsible for overall leadership, development, and results of the logistics operation. The role combines operational management, business development, and leadership with a clear focus on profitability, customer satisfaction, and business development. You have a broad area of responsibility that encompasses both day-to-day operations and long-term work to develop the business, identify new opportunities, and ensure that the operation delivers according to established targets and service levels. The role involves close collaboration with customers, international partners, and internal functions, with a major focus on creating value through strong relationships and high operational quality. You will become a key person in the operation where you are expected to develop both the business and the organization by driving improvement initiatives, streamlining processes, and creating conditions for continued growth and competitiveness. YOUR ASSIGNMENT You have operational and strategic responsibility for ensuring that the operation meets its targets in finance, customer satisfaction, quality, and business development. The role encompasses both managing day-to-day operations and initiating and driving improvements that strengthen the operation's performance and long-term development. · Lead and develop the logistics operation and ensure that operational, commercial, and financial targets are achieved. · Coach and develop employees, managers, and future leaders within the organization. · Build and develop long-term relationships with customers, partners, and other key stakeholders. · Identify and drive new business opportunities, services, and commercial initiatives that contribute to growth. · Ensure that the operation delivers according to agreed service levels and customer commitments. · Be responsible for budget, monitoring, reporting, and the operation's overall results. · Drive improvement work within processes, working methods, and operational efficiency. · Analyze market developments and business opportunities to strengthen the operation's competitiveness and continued development. The role requires both operational initiative and strategic perspective. You are expected to work closely with the operation, understand the business, and translate opportunities into concrete initiatives that create business value and long-term results. YOUR PROFILE We are looking for someone with experience from a leadership role in logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), freight forwarding, supply chain, or related operations. You thrive in a role where you can combine business development, leadership, and operational responsibility, and are motivated by creating results through people, relationships, and a strong customer focus. You are a confident leader with good business acumen and experience developing operations, building strong teams, and creating long-term customer relationships. You have the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational responsibility and are driven by creating growth, improvements, and sustainable business results. We believe you have: · At least 5-10 years of experience from a senior leadership role with overall operational responsibility in logistics, 3PL, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related operations. · Documented experience leading and developing teams, managers, and organizations. · Experience in business development and creating new business opportunities. · Experience in key account management and strategic customer development. · Experience in commercial and contract-related negotiations. · Good understanding of logistics operations, supply chain processes, and operational business management. · Experience with budget responsibility, financial monitoring, and results management. · Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational responsibility. · Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
