We are now seeking a Business Intelligence Controller who wants to be part of developing monitoring, analysis, and data-driven decision support within Folktandvården Skåne. You will be part of the Finance and Procurement Department and report to the Finance Manager. The department consists of 16 employees who together form an important business support resource for the organization.
The position is located at our headquarters in central Lund, in modern facilities with direct connection to the train station, which makes commuting easier.
About the role
This is a key position for you who want to work at the intersection of operations, finance, data, and development.
Folktandvården Skåne has, over the past years, undertaken extensive work to develop data quality, master data, KPI structures, and reporting to create common definitions, increased transparency, and better decision support. Now we are looking for you who wants to further develop this work.
You will manage our BI solution Qlik Sense and get a central role in ensuring that the organization has access to relevant, quality-assured, and usable information. The role involves close collaboration with operations, the finance function, management, and external development resources.
An important part of the assignment is understanding the organization's needs and translating them into concrete analysis and development initiatives. You function as the bridge between users and developers, which places great demands on understanding both sides.
You are expected to become the expert on our data and be the person who can assist with various data extractions and analysis when existing reports are not sufficient.
Responsibilities
• Manage and further develop Folktandvården Skåne's BI platform Qlik Sense.
• Be the requirements owner and coordinating link between operations and external development resources
• Develop reporting, monitoring, and analysis support
• Ensure quality, structure, and usability in operational data
• Define and develop control and key performance indicators
• Prepare decision support for management and operations
• Conduct analyses related to operations, finance, and pricing
• Participate in working groups and development initiatives within BI and data
• Train and support users in reports, analysis tools, and working methods
• Contribute to a long-term and more data-driven approach in the organization
Relevant background
We believe you have:
• Experience in Business Intelligence, operational analysis, reporting, and monitoring
• Good understanding of how data can be translated into operational value and business acumen
• Very good skills in Excel
• Experience with BI tools and data-driven operational management
• Ability to communicate with both operations, management, and technical specialists
