As a Business Controller at Stora Enso in Skoghall, you'll have a central role in the business where you work closely with production and management to strengthen profitability, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness. You serve as an important business partner to operations and contribute with analyses, forecasts, and financial decision-making materials that impact both daily operations and future investments. The role involves many stakeholders and close collaboration with production, supply chain, and other support functions. Your main responsibilities include: Serve as a Business Partner to managers and operations on financial and business matters. Analyze results, costs, production, and key metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Own budgets, forecasts, monitoring, and scenario analyses. Prepare investment calculations, business cases, and decision-making materials. Identify deviations and drive improvement efforts together with operations. Develop reporting, processes, and data-driven working methods. Support and serve as backup to the Business Unit Controller as needed. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for an experienced Business Controller with strong analytical abilities and a genuine interest in operations and business. You thrive in a role where you can combine analysis with influence and naturally collaborate across different parts of the organization. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Academic degree in economics, industrial economics, or equivalent. Experience with financial management, budgets, forecasts, and profitability analyses. Experience from manufacturing industry, preferably process industry. Good understanding of the connection between production, finance, and business. Experience with business calculations and financial decision-making materials. Very strong Excel skills and experience with ERP and reporting systems. Good understanding of accounting and financial principles. Very strong skills in Swedish and English. As a person, you are business-minded, proactive, and communicative. You are a team player who actively contributes in meetings and collaborations, builds trust in the organization, and challenges constructively when needed. You have the ability to translate analysis into action and results, and work with a strong 4A mindset – Ambition, Agility, Analytical Approach, and Accountability.
