We at Asta Agency are collaborating with MedHelp in this recruitment process. We are looking for a Business Controller at the headquarters in Stockholm. The process takes place through Asta, and you will then be employed directly by MedHelp. About the Position As Business Controller, you will have a central role in MedHelp's continued development and become a close collaborator with the CFO. You will initially take significant responsibility for accounting, group accounting, and reporting, while gradually gaining a deeper understanding of the business and internal stakeholders. The role is broad and combines operational accounting work with analysis, development, and business support. You will work with ongoing accounting, monthly financial statements, group consolidation, and reporting to management and the board. You will also contribute to budget, forecast, and bonus tracking, as well as support the organization with relevant decision-making materials. MedHelp is in a phase where the finance function should continue to be modernized and streamlined. Therefore, there is clear room for you if you want to develop working methods, system support, and reporting using AI and digital tools. In the long term, the ambition is for you to grow into a broader CFO responsibility in connection with a planned generational transition. The role is therefore suited for you if you want to take the next step in your career, develop, and get a broad role with a foot in both operational and strategic work, and eventually take overall responsibility for the finance function. Qualifications and Characteristics To thrive in the role, you are structured, analytical, and confident in taking responsibility for details without losing sight of the bigger picture. You have a data-driven and thorough working style, while being communicative and comfortable working closely with colleagues from different parts of the organization. You are humble, curious, and want to understand the business behind the numbers so you can contribute relevant insights and support. In addition, you have: 3–5 years of experience working in accounting, with understanding of monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting. Preferably with a background from a firm, group environment, or a broad finance role in a growth company. Experience with group accounting and group consolidation. Strong Excel skills and experience compiling decision-making materials. Good system familiarity and interest in developing and streamlining working methods. Interest in AI and how digital tools can be used within the finance function. Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written. Other Information Start: By agreement. Location: Stockholm.
