Business Controller | ScandiNova Systems AB | Uppsala

As a business controller at ScandiNova, you work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and business operations to drive qualified financial management in a company where technology and innovation are at the center. You are an analytical and communicative partner who helps the organization make well-informed decisions based on data and financial insight. The role is broad and involves close collaboration with both operational managers and the management team. About the Company ScandiNova Systems, based in Uppsala, is a global leader in the development and production of pulsed high-voltage power supplies – known as modulators. Our products are used in cancer treatment, scientific research, industrial X-ray, radar, and food processing. With customers including CERN, Varian Medical Systems, and Elekta, over 95% of products are exported globally. The company has approximately 135 employees and is part of Nodica Group. Key Responsibilities • Drive budget and forecast processes in close dialogue with the business • Develop monthly management reporting with relevant KPIs • Act as a business-focused partner to operational managers and project leaders by providing data-driven decision support • Analyze costs, margins, and production costing • Manage and further develop reporting structures in Power BI • Contribute to improvements and maintenance of processes in the ERP system Infor LN • Support quantitative analysis and prioritization About You • At least 5 years of experience as a business controller or equivalent role, preferably in manufacturing or technology-intensive operations • Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting • Demonstrated experience with forecasting tools and Power BI • Experience with ERP systems, with Infor LN being a merit • Ability to clearly communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders • University degree in economics, finance, or similar field • Interest in and knowledge of production and product economics Your Personal Qualities • Analytical and structured with strong ability to manage complex data • Business-oriented and proactive with a genuine interest in business results • Communicative and collaboration-focused — you thrive in the role of internal advisor • Driven by improvement work and take initiative for more efficient processes Working with Us As a staffing consultant with us, you always receive a competitive salary, vacation, pension contributions, insurance, and membership in our collective agreement.
