About the Role The Business Controller role reports to the CFO and you work closely with the business on financial management and reporting. The focus of the role is to analyze and optimize key metrics, financial processes, develop and enhance analysis models, reports, and work with monthly reporting and KPI tracking through the Business Controller team. The Business Controller role serves as support to the business with a focus on maintaining good control and governance for increased profitability and providing better decision-making support to the business, such as through product costing calculations, and communicating in writing what happens in the business as well as reporting to the group. You work in close collaboration with operational managers, the CFO, and other leadership to independently drive improvement work for increased efficiency and reliability in the numbers, with a focus on profitability and cost drivers in the company. To succeed, you need proactivity, a strong interest in the business, and independence. Tasks and Responsibilities · Responsible for monthly reporting including KPI tracking and communicating current results versus budget/forecast/previous year to company management and local leadership. It is important to be able to describe the financial development in numbers and in writing. · Liquidity reporting · Build and develop analysis models and reports · Analyze, conclude, and present findings both to support and challenge the business. · Together with local leadership, drive profitability improvement activities. · Support Sales with preliminary calculations for larger quotes · Post-calculation of product and customer profitability and provide suggestions for increased profitability. · Follow the company's development and conduct early warning · Responsible for the budget process Qualifications Academic Education At least five years of experience in a similar role, developing and analyzing key metrics, business analysis, and being able to describe financial development in numbers and in writing Experience working in manufacturing companies is desirable Experience working to develop efficiency in business processes, workflows, and reporting Very strong knowledge of working with Power BI and other BI solutions as well as ERP systems We are Looking for We are looking for someone who is results-driven and with a business-minded approach, preferably with experience from manufacturing companies.
