The National Health Service (Registration No. 90009649337) announces a competition for a state civil service position - Senior Economist at the Contract Partners Department, Zemgale Division Key Responsibilities: • Ensure contract volume planning and preparation of financial statements; • Evaluate healthcare financing planned by service types and service providers, preparing justified corrections when necessary; • Monitor the consistency of healthcare service volume accounting and financial data; • Analyze financial and volume indicators of healthcare services in medical institutions of the Zemgale territorial division; • Prepare financial statements for medical institutions; • Prepare payment requests for fund transfers. Requirements for Candidates: • Compliance with requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; • Higher education in economics; • Experience in collecting and analyzing large volumes and diverse information; • Experience working with databases and performing economic calculations; • Experience working in public administration or healthcare sector will be considered an advantage; • Ability to navigate regulatory acts related to professional activities according to job specifics; • Good skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; • State language proficiency level C1; • High sense of responsibility, precision, initiative, good communication and cooperation skills; • Ability to take responsibility for own decisions and work results; • Ability to plan and organize own time; • Business communication skills.
