WORK TASKS Through counseling, outreach work, and implementation of assistance-assessed interventions, you will help increase residents' knowledge about household economics, consumer rights, and sustainable consumption. In this assignment, you will: • Provide advice and support on household financial matters with the goal that the individual will gain better control and balance in their household finances. • Provide support to individuals in economic change work through, for example, budget and debt counseling, establishing payment plans and sustainable budget planning, and reviewing agreements to reduce costs. • Assist with applications for debt relief, appeals, and offer support throughout the entire debt relief period. • Provide advice and information to the public on various consumer issues, for example, information about customers' rights when purchasing goods or services. • Collaborate with other authorities, companies, and community institutions. • Be responsible for working preventatively and proactively in the field, for example through information, lectures, posts on social media, or contact with the media. • The assignment will also include managing estates. Documentation is done in the business systems Lifecare and Boss+. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with appropriate university education with a basic focus on social work. In addition, legal studies in social law basic (I) and advanced (II) as well as consumer law. Many of those you meet in your assignment are in a vulnerable life situation, which requires a good ability to meet people in crisis. Working with change processes also requires that you have good pedagogical abilities and a good ability to establish professional relationships. Furthermore, you should have a good ability to: • Express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Independently plan and structure the performance of work tasks. • Contribute to the organization's ongoing improvement work in order to strengthen the ability to create added value for the municipality's residents. To be eligible for employment in social care in Mörbylånga Municipality, the employer will ask the applicant to provide an extract from the police's criminal record for residential care.
