Medical Doctor (BT) at Region Örebro County

The BT services are directed towards you who will train to become a specialist physician according to the new ST regulation (HSLF-FS 2021:8). Region Örebro County has a well-developed training organization and offers several high-quality training positions. With us, you will get a good start on your specialist training in an expanding region with a university hospital (Örebro) and two county hospitals (Karlskoga and Lindesberg). Work Tasks The BT placements in Region Örebro County are distributed between acute care, primary care, and psychiatry. Your foundation service begins with an introduction week featuring lectures and practical training. Regular teaching sessions and seminars are included to support goal achievement. You will be assigned a personal supervisor at each placement as well as a main supervisor for the entire foundation service. Qualifications Swedish medical license and current knowledge of Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. Relevant experience of work as a physician within Swedish healthcare is meritorious. Assessment of medical competence is done as part of the recruitment process. We place great emphasis on personal maturity, collaboration skills, and ability to provide good patient care. Commitment to achieving the goals of the foundation service is self-evident.
