We are now seeking resident physicians (BT) for our hospitals in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå. We are recruiting you as a BT physician with the intention and hope that you will develop and wish to continue your future career with us in Västerbotten. Our three locations and hospitals each have their own character: Lycksele is the largest town in inland Västerbotten, southern Lapland, located midway between coast and mountains. DUTIES As a BT physician with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. You will participate in everyday healthcare and the work is conducted under personal supervision of physicians with specialist competence and ST physicians. The independent service has a standard duration of 12 months and begins with 2 weeks of introduction together with AT physicians. During the year, clinical service alternates with education, some of which is shared across the county while others are organized locally at each hospital. Everyone undergoing BT has a designated personal supervisor at all service positions and a responsible main supervisor throughout the BT. Examination takes place through continuous assessments using assessment tools that are also used in specialist service and combined assessments conducted at the end of each service period. A final assessment is made by the main supervisor and an external assessor where continuous and combined assessments are collected. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who wants to live and develop in Västerbotten, has Swedish medical licensure upon starting BT, and needs to complete BT to advance in their career. Applicants must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, equivalent to C1 level. Those who do not have Swedish as a first language may need to take a language test before employment. It is meritorious to have clinical experience as a physician in the Swedish healthcare system. Other merits may include other relevant qualifications, previous work experience, specialist interests, and local ties. We are seeking someone who is organized, works well with others, and is communicative. You also have good resilience and the ability to remain calm and act steadily even in pressured situations. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date January 18 in Umeå, January 26 in Lycksele and Skellefteå. Salary: Lycksele 44,800 kr, Skellefteå 43,800 kr, Umeå 42,800 kr Discussions about possible credit transfers will be conducted during recruitment.
