At Malmberg, we work with drilling, energy, and industrial design. With over 160 years of experience behind us, we develop solutions that work – in operation, over time, and in reality. Now we're looking for you to be part of us and help shape a more sustainable future, both locally and globally.

Would you like an independent job where you have the opportunity to work in Fridays periodically? Then don't miss the chance to become a well driller at Malmberg!
What will you do with us?
As a well driller, you'll work with both large and small drilling rigs and use various drilling techniques to create wells for energy and water.
No two drill sites are the same, and conditions vary from project to project. That's why you need to be creative, solution-oriented, and comfortable finding solutions to the challenges that arise. The work can also be physically demanding since it's performed outdoors year-round. The role also includes some service and maintenance of our drilling rigs.
Work takes place on-site, primarily in southern Sweden, but assignments in other parts of the country can also occur. When you're at a customer, you represent Malmberg and meet municipalities, major property owners, construction companies, and industries. The position involves travel, both shorter and longer trips, and to make it easier, you'll have your own service vehicle that you take from home. When you're not working in the field, your workplace is our headquarters in Yngsjö.
Qualifications
You'll become part of a tight-knit team where you support and help each other in daily work. To thrive and succeed in the role of well driller, we see that you:
enjoy physical work.
are responsible and can work independently.
are outgoing and have a customer-focused, service-oriented approach.
have a B-class driver's license. C or CE-class licenses are a plus.
have experience with welding in black steel and stainless steel (a plus).
have well driller certification or drilling technician training (a plus).
At Malmberg, we work for a safe, healthy, and drug-free work environment. Final candidates for the position will therefore be asked to present an extract from the criminal record, undergo a drug and alcohol test, and if applicable, be offered a health examination through our occupational health service. For certain positions, we will also conduct a credit check.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Recruitment Coordinator Ester Björk, [email protected], or recruiting manager Sara Malmberg, [email protected].
We conduct continuous selection, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
Deadline for application: 31-08-2026
