The Medicine Clinic ViN is a specialist clinic in internal medicine and specialized palliative care. Care is provided through outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and home healthcare. The clinic's specialist outpatient clinics diagnose and treat blood disorders, diabetes, endocrine diseases, lung diseases, kidney diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, stroke, allergies, and anticoagulation therapy. The inpatient care at the clinic is divided between two wards caring for internal medicine patients and providing specialized palliative inpatient care. The clinic also offers specialized palliative home healthcare 24/7 for patients with cancer and other chronic conditions requiring extensive medical interventions.

Job Description
As unit manager, you lead, plan, and develop the operations in collaboration with your co-manager. The position requires present and clear leadership with the patient's best interests in focus. You will create good conditions for a positive work environment characterized by psychological safety and joy at work. Setting goals, following up, and providing feedback are important tasks. The assignment involves delegated responsibility from the clinic manager for operations, budget, employees, and work environment. You will be part of the clinic management and are expected to contribute to clinic-wide matters in management team work.
Team
The staff consists of nurses and nursing assistants with varying experience and knowledge but all with great commitment to the work on the ward. Each employee contributes their expertise where collective efforts make a significant difference for patients.
About You
You have higher education or other education that the employer considers relevant for the assignment, preferably healthcare-related. If you have completed management training and/or leadership development programs, that is meritorious.
Management and leadership experience in a complex operation is necessary, preferably from 24/7 inpatient care.
Good knowledge of Swedish language in both speech and writing is essential.
We are looking for someone who enjoys a management role and is skilled at creating motivation and involvement among staff around common goals. You have good ability to collaborate and solve problems. You act securely and stably in different situations, which includes communicating clearly and distinctly. This means skill in listening, asking questions, describing, deciding, and communicating decisions. Your leadership style is characterized by good self-awareness and understanding of your role in the department while considering the entire clinic's interests in your actions and decisions. Great weight will be placed on personal competencies.
