About the role 🔥 As a fire safety technician, you play a key role in creating safety and security for people in their daily lives. You work closely with our customers in varying environments and are responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, adjusting, completing, and inspecting fire safety equipment. The work includes everything from fire extinguishers and defibrillators to kitchen suppression systems, vehicle suppression systems, shelters, smoke dampers, and fittings. 🚗 The role offers great variety—no two days are the same. You might start the morning servicing smoke dampers at an industrial property, continue to a preschool to ensure fire safety, and end the day inventorying a shelter in a condominium association. Most of your working time is spent on-site with customers on varying assignments, while the remaining time consists of planning, bookings, and administrative tasks for which you are responsible. 🤝 You plan and carry out your assignments with the customer in focus while simultaneously helping the customer identify and address any gaps in their fire safety.
