About the role 🔥 As a fire safety technician, you have a key role in creating safety for people in their daily lives. You work closely with our customers in varying environments and are responsible for service, troubleshooting, adjustment, completion, and inspection of fire safety equipment. The work includes everything from fire extinguishers and defibrillators to kitchen suppression systems, vehicle suppression systems, shelters, smoke dampers, and fittings. 🚗 The role offers great variety where no two days are the same. You might start your morning at an industrial property servicing smoke dampers, continue to a preschool to ensure fire safety, and end the day inventorying a shelter in a residential housing cooperative. Most of your working time is spent out at customers on varying assignments, while the remaining time consists of planning, bookings, and administrative tasks that you are responsible for. 🤝 You plan and conduct your assignments with the customer in focus and help the customer identify and address any shortcomings in their fire safety. The role suits you if you enjoy combining technical work with customer contact and relationship building. 📈 An important part of the role is also to work toward individual goals and budget while contributing to the region's overall results.
